Putting stats
How Pros Use Putting Stats Differently from Amateurs
Why elite players use putting stats as a map, while amateurs often use them as a verdict.

Pros separate performance from emotion
Tour players and serious competitors use putting stats to identify patterns: make rates by distance, speed control, green-reading tendencies, and performance under different surfaces. They do not treat every missed putt as a character flaw.
Amateurs can borrow the habit
You do not need tour-level data. You need the same attitude. Track enough to know what to practice, then go practice it.
The best question
Ask, “What would make my next ten rounds easier?” If the answer is fewer three-putts, that is your practice plan. If it is starting 5-footers on line, that is your plan. Stats are useful when they create action.
