Start-line gate

Place two tees just wider than your putter head, then another gate a foot in front of the ball. Roll ten putts from four feet. If the ball clips the forward gate, the face or path needs attention. If the putter clips the back gate, your stroke is wandering.

Speed ladder

Set tees at 15, 25, and 35 feet. Roll one ball to each distance, then come back down the ladder. The goal is not to hole everything; it is to leave the ball within a comfortable tap-in zone.

Put the session in focus

FocusGolf can support fundamentals work by giving the rest of your practice a clear record. With a Wear OS, Apple Watch, or Garmin watch, you can capture swings hands-free, review consistency and tempo, and pair swing video review with motion data in the mobile app. When the full swing gets organized, it is easier to give putting the same measured attention.

Pressure finish

End with five 3-footers around the hole. Miss one and restart the set. It is a small dose of pressure, but it teaches you to repeat the routine when the putt matters.
