The Future of Golf Podcasts
Golf podcasts are becoming more interactive, data-aware, and niche — giving every kind of golfer a better chance to find their people.

Niches will get stronger
Golf is too big for one conversation. Expect more shows for junior golf parents, public-course players, architecture fans, fitters, women’s golf, adaptive golf, mental performance, travel, and local scenes.
That’s good. A 20-handicapper trying to enjoy weekend golf doesn’t need the same show as a mini-tour player chasing Monday qualifiers.
Audio will pair with video and data
More shows will blend conversations with swing clips, shot charts, course maps, launch numbers, and listener questions. A coach might discuss a wedge drill in audio, then link to a short video. A course preview might include hole maps and wind notes.
The challenge is keeping audio useful on its own. A podcast that requires constant screen time stops being a podcast for many listeners.
Trust will matter
Sponsorships and affiliate links will grow. Golfers won’t mind ads if hosts are clear and the content stays useful. Good shows will make it obvious when they’re teaching, reporting, entertaining, or selling.
The future still needs the range. Earbuds first, fairway next.
