Draw shots
How to Practice Draw Shots Under Pressure
Games and routines that make practice feel closer to the first tee or a match on the line.

Add consequence carefully
Pressure practice for draw shots should be clear, short, and slightly uncomfortable. Pick the starting window, define the acceptable finish, and go through the same routine every time.
Nine-shot challenge
- Three balls at controlled speed.
- Three balls with normal tempo.
- Three balls after stepping away and restarting the routine.
Reward the ball flight, but also reward starting it on the intended side.
Course transfer
When the round tightens, return to aiming the face right of target and swinging slightly farther right. Under pressure, the draw needs the familiar face-path feel rather than a desperate hand flip.
